Any news on whether there are warrants out for the rest of this corrupt family? Namely, Leila and his son-in-law?
I fear if Madaffi uses chemical weapons, the fear will come back to those brave people who would like to follow Tunisia's and Egypt's lead.
There are " warrants " of such out for Ben Ali. Leila Trabelsi, Sakr el Materi, Imed Trabelsi, BelHassen Trabelsi, etc which were issued by the Tunisian government demanding their immediate extradition to Tunisia to face a long list of charges. At the top of the list is theft from the Tunisian people. I do believe that BelHassen and Imed Trabelsi still have or did have other warrants out for their arrest from Interpol for their involvement in the yacht stolen from a French business man that turned up in Sidi Bou Saiid harbor as well as other yachts which were stolen in a similar fashion. Part of that case was resolved as far as it applied to the French government ; The French sent them back to Tunis as part of diplomatic laws, however I don't think that the Interpol warrant was ever settled.
Makes the countries harbouring these wanted criminals guilty and the media should reign in on this and force them to send these people back to Tunisia for trial. The new government should insist on this.
