    Hi Claire,

    Welcome to TLR.

There are a number of clubs in Sousse. Living, Bananas, Bora Bora(not open in winter) Samara, Saloon, La grotte. Those are the ones I know of, there are more. Some hotels have clubs on site. I have only been to the Saloon, and the club in the Vinnci hotel in PEK. There is a nightlife.

Best night I had in Sousse was sitting in a cafe eating an ice-cream dessert so big even I was nearly sick - oh and washed down with a lemonade. Guess I'm too old to give advice on Sousse nite life :D

    Hey Claire!
    Welcom to TLR.
I like the Irish pub at Port el Kantoui, just sit down enjoy some talking and a good cocktail.
If you have the time I would advice the 2 day trip to the Sahara. It's really nice and you see a lot of the country.
And if anyone invite you for dinner I would defintly go. People are very hospital and friendly. It's really nice to see how people live and most of them are amazing cooks. Have fun!!!

I'm not sure I agree May - if I were on holiday alone in a strange country and a stranger invited me to their house for dinner I would politely decline. Granted, people can be friendly and hospitable, but you still have to be aware of your personal safety even in countries where the sun always shines ;)

I've had dinner with people I only know for a couple of days.
But then again I was with my boyfriend. As a woman alone I would not have done it.
It turned oput very well for me ;)

I agree - different if you are with someone you know and feel safe with, but not generally as a first-time traveller to Tunisia.
