Welcome, you've been busy.
Wow, thank you for all this stuff!! It is worth your while emailing every embassy in Tunisia with a link to this FB group. After I reported many groups on FB to the British Home Office (fake passport accounts etc), they were shut down, though I imagine they probably infiltrated the groups for information beforehand. Any sites like this, actively supporting/promoting bezness need to be highlighted. Do you have a link to this group? Authorities view TLR, so it's worth popping the full link on here with a lowdown on what the group actually is
Can you post a link to this Facebook group please
I want to see the name and purpose of the FB site. So far I see no evidence of any wrong doing or any reason for posting identities of the group's members.
does this help
Ben wrote in the Nour Ismail thread :
"but it looks like a group on "How to get the fuck off Tunisia and immigrate" "
So it's a group to discuss problems living abroad and how to migrate from Tunisia. Doesn't mean that everyone in the group is a rat.
Oh, it's that group! I didn't realise it was the group from the other thread!
Just had a nosey through the members, quite a new group, only started adding members from three weeks ago to a couple of hours ago. Plenty of pics of London, Paris etc there in profiles.
Would be interested in seeing some comments from within the group to understand it's true nature (names and faces blacked out). It looks like the groups Houssem used to belong to, they have hints and tips on how to get to UK/EU, illegal travel routes and advice, hints and tips on details, prices, information on people smugglers etc plus legal ways out via scam marriage (used to tip each other off over potential victims), education, sports etc, they tip each other off on the easiest ways to claim benefits.
My best find with Houssem was the group dealing in fake passports/invitations, plus a group that looks like a college in London, but it didn't exist, it was a cover for people issuing fake education certificates. We reported them to the Home Office.
I can't say for sure that's what this group is, not without seeing more....but it sure looks that way, based on what I saw in the world of crime and illegality Houssem dragged me into, so a tip off to the authorities is definitely worth doing.
I'd be tempted to take off personal details like names and faces for now, for all we know, it could be a 'Paint by numbers' group or something.....but I don't think so! I was unwittingly dragged into this world before...it looks oh so familiar
Yes, me too, there might also be rats on that fb, but they are all over, even on TLR
You can see all 681 members of the fb group anyhow on fb هجرة و مهاجرون(TN)✈
Personally, I think the link to the FB page is sufficient but I don't have a problem with showing something that is public. My issue is with the implication that everyone who wants out of Tunisia is a rat, which of course is not true. If I lived in Tunisia at the minute, I would be looking for a way out.
I do think that we take our freedom of movement and accessibility to travel for granted. There is nothing wrong with wanting to make a better life somewhere else, it's how you go about it.
Khaled Akrout joined the group on Sunday
Technician at Ooredoo Tunisie
Now there's a surprise Wonder if he'll give us a little more free publicity in there
