zaboura means litterally the female genital part, but is used to describe a beautiful woman (in foul language).
manika means a woman that has been fucked or is fuckable as far as I know...

Not the finest of words in Tunisia...

My lying rat of a boyfriend has these conversations with his friends...... But of course lies about just about anything, even when the conversations are genuinely normal..... I'm due back in tunisia on the 29th of this month and want hard evidence for when I arrive, I do hasten to add in my heart I know what I have to do and I will do it .... This page has helped me so much to make my mind up they have been so supportive especially Laurence x

I understand your desire to have hard evidence and to confront him with it, but like many others, I suggest you just block him and move on. I know women who have provided concrete evidence, talked with the other wives/girlfriends of her guy, had the man confess, but finally believed in "love" and still accepted the man. I know women who did everything right (meaning gave money) and for no reason, the man just disappeared with no explanation. These men will leave in a heartbeat without the courtesy of a civil explanation. If you insist on confrontation, it usually ends up in name calling and they turn all the information to be your fault with no shred of conscience. Most of us here have already had enough abuse in our lives. You don't need to hear negative words and be berated. He won't change and it seems when backed into a "caught corner" these men come out on full attack. They are vicious. They are really masters at this. Besides, between all the problems in Tunisia right now (not just security...there are water shortages, government cutbacks, strikes, etc.) and the fact that you're sure this man is opportunistic, I think you would be better to cancel the trip and find another, safer sunny shore. I realize you will do as you need to, but just wanted to be one more voice of caution. Either way, I hope you find your much deserved peace.

Well, bacisally in this conversation they go on calling each other names (camel, fuck you mother, dickhead etc.) in the most common way, tourism in Monastir being fucked up, they're gross and impolite, nearly no clients in the hotel, Tunisia is fucked up... What a bunch of lowlives! Just ignore them, they're not worth one second of a decent woman's attention!!!!

If I were you I would change my Holiday plans!!!!

Be very careful especially if you are relying on him for accommodation, company etc. if the shit hit's the fan you can be sure that all his friends, work colleagues and family will be on his side and if he gets nasty, so will they. Some might pretend to be friendly but there will be ulterior motives, some will try to convince you that 'he's a good guy really blahblahblah'.

I hope you're not going alone because, believe me, you won't be able to rely/trust any Tunisian friends once they know you've caught him out.

And confronting him will do you no good, their mentality is that they will just find it amusing and laugh at you :( while trying to manipulate you into believing it's you who is crazy. So it's really not worth it.

Bless you Laura , it's not been easy as you know they talk the talk and walk the walk and because we are genuine women we fall for it big time, I have got stronger and stronger every day because of this page and seen right through him..... Best of it is he doesn't suspect a thing, and I am looking into changing my holiday plans

Please change your plans their really is not any reason to confront him/ he will lie or since their are fewer victims now because of the attack get real nasty. Just his words show you what a low life he is.....why bother..... Cut him off block him and all his friends and go gave a real holiday . It's. Not safe to go there and really not worth your time.

I don't understand why anyone would go to Tunisia now.

If terrorist attacks, threats and state of emergency aren't enough to stop you, what more do you need to know?

Are you so addicted to this relationship you can't see what is happening in the world around you

What more proof do you need that this criminal is defrauding you?

From what I have read here you ending it will not necessarily mean he believes it's over. There will be calls, messages, pleading and all manner of persuasion so be prepared for pressure. I hope to follow in your footsteps.

I am slower at everything, always the last one to finish my dinner at the table but I will get there in the end.
