The Best Southern Baked Beans Recipe - USA
While your oven preheats, pour your navy beans into a medium stockpot set over medium heat.
In a medium skillet, add diced bacon, onion, and garlic. Cook until the bacon is crisp and the onion is tender. Then, remove from the heat and add to the navy beans. Add Worcestershire sauce, molasses, brown sugar, ketchup, and yellow mustard and stir to combine well. Pour into deep dish you plan to serve from or leave in stockpot. Finally, top with the optional (but highly recommended!) bacon and sprinkle top with brown sugar.
KFC Cole Slaw - Top Secret Recipe - Clone
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup buttermilk
2 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 1/2 tablespoon white vinegar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
8 cups finely chopped cabbage
1/4 cup shredded carrot
2 tablespoon minced onion
Chop cabbage + carots in fine pieces, about the size of rice
Combine mayonnaise, sugar, milk, buttermilk, lemon juice, vinegar, salt and pepper
and beat until smooth
Add cabbage, carrots and onion and mix well
Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving
