    Welcome @Hunter.

    I think it says:

"Even if there has been Chwaya Fazet between us but I am happy for you habibi. Khrajet Mel Ham Hamdoulleh Aalik take care of yourself."

    Let me double check.

    @Hunter

Why do you think she is a rat? Maybe we can help. There aren't many girls in the gallery or on the forum, BUT women can be just as ratty at the men.

There is a reason you think she is a rat. Your instincts are telling you something. We are here if you need us.

    FYI:

Oh, the word habibi is Arabic. It means, my love, my dear, my darling.

    Hi Hunter!
Yes, it's mix French and Arabic.
I agree with translation of Angelikeyes, but could not catch the meaning of the phrase totally.
"Even though there was (chwaya fazet) between us, but I 'm happy for you, love..khrajet mel ham hamdoulleh aalik take care, kiss.
Chwaya as I know means "a little", "very small"
Fazet- I found in translator "she won". Could this be " though there have been a little figth ( arguing) between us?
khrajet mel -??? ( I could not translate this)
hamdoulleh- I think it's their Thanks God
    aalik-
I know something like "mutaalik" means "love you so-so much", don't know what means "aalik".

It is only used for a partner right? Not for friends.

    Hello Hunter, welcome :)

A possible girl rat, eh.....I suspect we're gonna be getting a lot of men like you here, since they've changed the law, allowing Tunisian women to marry outside of Islam :(
Can I ask.....what makes you think she might be a rat?

Typically yes. Friends don't normally use habibi towards their friends. Habibi is our equivalent to "babe" or "baby"

I do think moms use it as a term of endearment for their children.

If you feel that something is wrong then that feeling is usually right. Would not have overlooked your inner voice

Habibi/ hobi is used for both sexes and only used towards a man/ wife or mother
It is not used towards a friend or other family member

I would say if you already are feeling like something isn’t right and you feel the need to check her messages, it probably isn’t right and the translation of the text sounds off.

Agreed, the girls can be just as bad sometimes I just think they are more subtle making them harder to catch.

After what I've read online, it's not common for Tunisian girls to meet someone online. It seems to me that Tunisians are keen to keep their traditions and customs and good Tunisian girls should preferably not have contact with strenger men I think. It is a shame for them and their family. Believe that Tunisia like other Arab countries is keen on honor. Good Muslim girls are not on dateing pages or out in town (nightclubs, pub etc) At me, the Tunisian culture is hard to know

Not sure about it, maybe it changed a little. My rat has many Tunisian girls very young whom have hundreds of men on their friends list hitting like to their pictures. They seem to be fishing too.

Many Muslim young girls have boyfriends behind their family back it's true but if the family finds out of it, I think these girls are in serious trouble because I still believe the Arab world is hanging out of our world. It is still organized marriage for them. Still believe that cousin marriage is common also in Tunisia

Does not like their culture because it is double moral and because the boys have all the freedom to do what they want. They can even have children with a girl without them getting out of it and from writing all the responsibility for the kid and I'm against it. There are no rights for women in the Muslim world. The boys can have more partners and some also get children out of marriage but they keep this hideous for their family. disgusting

    Yes, it's deeply patriarchal society.
